I suggest you guys keep an eye on this site! As someone who is constantly plugged online, I’m beginning to see a huge macro trend of rising high quality media content (YouTube, blogging, twitter presence) by new media artists who are communicating directly with their fans and growing organically. Far East Movement is the best example.
Of note is the rise of Asian-American artists. One can note their lack of presence in mainstream media as channeling them to the Internet and hey, all the other AA’s are online anyways so their on the same platform to communicate. And they connect.
First a magazine, beautiful design and strong message. Then who knows. You guys definitely have my support!!!
