I have never been so pumped for a football game as I do right now. With last week’s UNBELIEVABLE win against USC 55-21, Stanford proves that we aren’t just great at academics but in sports as well. With so much school pride going around lately I am so glad to be here, much happier than my high school which had negative school pride at best. This Saturday is the Big Game, where we face off with Cal Berkeley to get back the Axe, the unofficial trophy that defines our rivalry. I absolutely love how excited everyone is and I’m going to stop rambling and let the pictures tell the rest :)

Thank you TUSB for blogging about SMIF. It’s nice to know people appreciate the outlandish creative methods to save money and that spamming mailing lists work :)

As for SMIF, this one’s a no-brainer. Aside from the fact that “smif” is just fun to say (and reminds me, for whatever reason, of scratch ‘n’ sniff stickers), the blog is racking up some pretty funny posts, such as: “Today, I didn’t wipe. My friend:

Before heading through security at the airport, my dad asked me if I had enough money. I told him I did, but he nudged my mom to give me some more cash in case of an emergency. My mom opened her wallet full of twenties, and pulled out a one dollar bill and handed it to me.
